Mudslinging in 17th District Senate race

Lisa Paolino, a minor candidate for the Republican nomination to run for the 17th state Senate seat, is spending a lot of her time arguing with critics over some of her past actions and statements.

The odd part about it is that the mudslinging doesn't involve either of Paolino's announced challengers for the GOP nomination to run for the seat being vacated by Sen. Connie Williams.

The critical comments about Paolino appear to have originated from people in her own community.

I don't know much about the controversy, but here are two links that may shed some light into candidate Lisa Paolino.

Isn't it interesting that this is a fight with a constituent not even another political type? BTW, you need to spell the name correctly or you may be sued....

oh come on now, there are plenty of typos on her blog - just look:

and here's another website

however can it be said the previous person commenting brings up a valid point? How do you handle 1st amendment rights issues and threats in general? have you ever had anyone give you grief?

Rumor has it she won't be getting endorsements in Delco communities in the 17th like Haverford Twp. Don't know about Radnor.

Any news on any other candidate for the 17th SD? All this publicity on one candidate is boring. It's like following Flat Stanley around.

Being a developer myself, the mis-spellings I read are in the dead romance language Latin. We all use Latin to fill in space till contnet is approved by the Blog and website owner....

Picky, Picky, Picky

Wow did you all miss the point? I wasn't about the the misspelling...

dear "developer", that wasn't the type of typo I was referring to, and I was referring to the many spelling errors, etc on the blog that was started for this candidate. and as for the counter blog, that is very amusing - very peter pourcupine delco tom paine - which was brilliant while it lasted. This website sounds like it is a jilted boyfriend or angry neighbor doing the writing.

the latin filler on the regular web site I got.

someone says the candidate is having milk and cookies or coffee and donuts at her new office this a.m. - which she rents from a developer...the other kind...the kind that builds buildings. what kinda rent do you figure the developer is getting from a political candidate or do they do these things for free as a contribution to the campaign?
