Gov. Ed Rendell was scheduled to sign the new Open Records legislation into law today.
It's about time, according to The Mercury. Pennsylvania has been living in the dark ages too long when it comes to government secrecy. And how could it have taken the Legislature 13 months to agree on a bill that is so common sense? How dysfunctional is the Pennsylvania Legislature?
