Lindsay Lohan channels Marilyn Monroe

With her movie career in the toilet, what's left for Lindsay Lohan?

The former child star, whose promising film career has been overshadowed by tabloid headlines, is attempting a comeback by doing what many female celebrities do to revive their sinking careers ... Take off their clothes.

Lohan is featured in the pages of New York magazine wearing a blond wig and little else.

The pictorial recreates Marilyn Monroe's last nude photo shoot by photographer Bert Stern, who was behind the camera for the Vogue photos of Marilyn Monroe some 45 years ago.

Fast forward four decades. Same photographer. Same location (the Hotel Bel-Air in California). A different model. Instead of the Hollywood icon, in steps Lindsay Lohan, whose film career has been overshadowed by automobile crashes, DUI arrests and stints are rehab centers.

Stern told the Associated press that he thought the photo shoot would be good for Lohan's career, giving her the chance to portray herself as a "grown-up."

He also praised Lohan for her willingness to do the photo shoot in the nude, the news service reported.

"I thought she was a natural, not at all squeamish," Stern told the AP.

Squeamish? Has this guy seen "I Know Who Killed Me" or "Georgia Rule" or "Just My Luck"?

This has not been a good year for Lohan ... and it's only February.

Lohan is nominated for several Razzies for her awful performance in "I Know Who Killed Me" and she's also been named to Mr. Blackwell's Worst Dressed List. She was also photographed guzzling champagne at a New Year's party despite her much-publicized drinking problems.

I guess she has nothing to lose by posing nude. It certainly can't hurt her career.

Lindsay Lohan leads nominations for Razzies

We know Lindsay Lohan is a bad actress, but she may have set a new low for a cinematic performance by screwing up both her roles in "I Know Who Killed Me."

Lohan's "performance" in the 2007 box office bomb was cited twice in the worst actress category by the folks who pick the Razzies each year.

The film received nine Golden Raspberry Awards® nominations to lead the pack as the worst film of 2007.

Our favorite leading lady plays two roles in the film, a small-town girl abducted by a psychopath and a stripper who's missing body parts.

"I Know Who Killed Me" is favored to win in the Worst Picture category. It also received nominations for Worst Screenplay, Worst Director and Worst Screen Couple (Lohan appearing opposite herself).

The 28th annual Razzie "winners" will be announced Feb. 23, the day before the Academy Awards are picked. Razzie winners get to go home a gold-spray-painted, $4.89 statuette.

Posh Spice on worst dressed list?

How old is Mr. Blackwell and when did he lose vision in both eyes?

I cannot believe that Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham is at the top of Mr. Blackwell's latest worst-dressed list.

Take a look at her. What is wrong with this dress?

"Forget the fashion spice, wearing a skirt would suffice! In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck-em," Mr. Blackwell said in a statement.

Blackwell listed the Spice Girls as No. 1 in his 1998 worst-dressed list, deriding the group as "the only spices on the planet that have no taste," according to The Associated Press.

Now, Posh Spice, the best looking and best-dressed of the Spice Girls (in my humble opinion) tops Mr. Blackwell's 48th annual list? This man needs to have the oxygen turned up at the rest home he's staying at.

And no Britney Spears? Britney has been photographed wearing trash bags.

Here's the rest of Mr. Blackwell's list, along with his comments, as reported by the AP:

— No. 2: Amy Winehouse — "Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below, she's part '50s carhop horror."

— No. 3: Mary-Kate Olsen — "She resembles a tattered toothpick — trapped in a hurricane."

— No. 4: Fergie — "Yes, when it comes to couture chaos, guess it's all in a name!"

His top 10 also includes Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim.

Mr. Blackwell also released a Fabulous Fashion Independents list that includes Reese Witherspoon, Jemima Khan, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, Kate Middleton, Katherine Heigl and Cate Blanchett.

Another Lindsay Lohan train wreck ahead?

I don't know which is worse. Lindsay Lohan, who has a well-documented drinking problem, ringing in the New Year in Capri, Italy, by guzzling champagne ... or the fact that the 12th Annual Capri Hollywood International Film Festival chose to honor Lohan for her "contribution to cinema."

Her last two films -- "I Know Who Killed Me" and "George Rule" -- did not make any critic's Top 10 List.

The photo is an image made from video showing Lohan drinking champagne on New Year's Eve in Capri.

The widely circulated image prompted Lohan's lawyer to issue a statement saying that Lohan is 'back on track' after the setback in her sobriety, according to The Associated Press.

"After being handed a champagne bottle while on a dance floor in Italy on New Year's Eve and drinking from it, the good news is that Lindsay immediately stopped, called her sponsor, and got herself back on track," her attorney, Blair Berk, told the news service. "There is no magic cure here."

"Unfortunately, Lindsay has to share her 'one day at a time' with the entire world," Berk told the AP.

Back on track, you say? It appears she's wandering aimlessly on railroad tracks and that light up ahead is an oncoming train.

The 21-year-old "actress" and notorious party girl pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges in two arrests earlier in the year, the AP reported.

In addition to serving 84 minutes in jail in November, Lohan also was sentenced to three years' probation, required to complete an 18-month alcohol-education program and spend 30 days in a residential rehabilitation clinic, the wire service reported.
