Rush Limbaugh on the Obama Nobel Prize fiasco

Rush Limbaugh offers a plausible explanations for one of the dumbest decisions ever.

From POLITICO:
"This fully exposes the illusion that is Barack Obama," Limbaugh told POLITICO in an e-mail. "And with this 'award' the elites of the world are urging Obama, THE MAN OF PEACE, to not do the surge in Afghanistan, not take action against Iran and its nuclear program and to basically continue his intentions to emasculate the United States."

Limbaugh continued: "They love a weakened, neutered U.S, and this is their way of promoting that concept. I think God has a great sense of humor, too."

Rush Limbaugh can see the future

From the "Whispers" column in The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:
Byrd echoes Limbaugh

Rush was right.

Does anyone recall Rush Limbaugh's prediction in March regarding health care reform? The nationally syndicated talk show host predicted that by the time any legislation was passed, it would be known as the "Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care Bill."

After the Massachusetts senator succumbed to brain cancer last week, The Wall Street Journal reminded everyone about the Democratic National Committee's indignant response to Limbaugh's prognostication.

"It is outrageous to demonize a patriotic senator who has spent his life fighting so that every person has the opportunity to live the American dream," a DNC release stated. "Tell Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele to denounce Rush Limbaugh once and for all."

Bet the DNC would like to have that release back. Especially after Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., issued this statement following Kennedy's death:

"In his honor and as a tribute to his commitment to his ideals, let us stop the shouting and name calling and have a civilized debate on health care reform which I hope, when legislation has been signed into law, will bear his name for his commitment to insuring the health of every American."

We're still waiting for the DNC to be consistent and issue a statement denouncing Byrd for making such an outrageous remark.

Rush Limbaugh calls Obama nominee a racist

Rush Limbaugh took aim at Sonia Sotomayor on his radio show today, pointing out that the Obama Supreme Court nominee is a longtime proponent of racial quotas.

From a story by Andy Barr in Politico:
"Here you have a racist — you might want to soften that, and you might want to say a reverse racist," Limbaugh said of Sotomayor on his show, alluding to the New York federal appeals court judge's past statement that a "wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

Liberals, "of course, say that minorities cannot be racists because they don't have the power to implement their racism," Limbaugh said according to a transcript on his website. "Well, those days are gone, because reverse racists certainly do have the power. ... Obama is the greatest living example of a reverse racist, and now he's appointed one."

Bashing Rush Limbaugh

Taking its cue from the Obama White House, the liberal media dutifully continues to bash Rush Limbaugh even though the orchestrated campaign to distract the nation from Obama's failed presidency has been exposed.

David Frum, who runs a Web site called NewMajority.com, writes Newsweek's latest cover story about the GOP and the sway Rush Limbaugh has over the party, concluding, "From a political point of view, Limbaugh is kryptonite, weakening the GOP nationally."

Tell us how you really feel, David.

"We are accepting the leadership of a man with an ego-driven agenda of his own, who looms largest when his causes fare worst," Frum says.

And when was David Frum appointed leader of the conservative movement?

Read more about the Newsweek cover story at the link below, but keep in mind that Newsweek is part of the official propaganda wing of the Obama Administration.

For more on Obama's manipulation of the press, check out "How Obama plays the pundits" at Politico.com

If you don't want to waste time on Frum's essay, Newsweek magazine did interview four actual GOP leaders (former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich; Rep. Eric Cantor; Rep. Paul Ryan and Gov. Mark Sanford) about how to reinvent the party.

Their interviews are posted on Newsweek.com

Richard Viguerie: 'Rushification' inevitable result of GOP leaders' incompetence

The Republican Party is still in disarray, according to Richard Vigurie, chairman of ConservativeHQ.com

From a statement issued today by Vigurie:
Broadcasters and commentators such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and Michael Savage are seen as the de facto leaders of the Republican Party for a simple reason, Richard A. Viguerie said. "It's because no one else is acting like a Republican leader."

"The 'Rushification' of the GOP is the natural and inevitable result of the fact that those who are supposed to provide leadership -- Republican elected officials and party officers -- are doing little to bring the party back," said Viguerie, chairman of ConservativeHQ.com. "Nature abhors a vacuum, and there is no vacuum in nature as empty as the leadership of the Republican Party today."

"The GOP absolutely refuses to replace the Congressional leaders who helped get the party and the country into this mess. There are many Republican governors campaigning for the Obama 'stimulus' plan that is wrecking the economy and will push America deeper into socialism. Gov. Jindal's speech was technocratic, without passion and toothless, and Michael Steele's foolish attack on Rush Limbaugh will, I'm sure, cost the party many millions in contributions."

The anger of grassroots conservatives continues unabated at the weak-kneed, spineless, earmark-loving Republicans.
