There is not a Republican lawmaker in Berks, Chester or Montgomery counties who will support tolling of Route 422. And since Republicans control both houses of the Pennsylvania Legislature, I can't see this plan moving forward.

Montco Commissioner is backing tolls for 422? Is this a desperate attempt to worm his way into a planning commission position? Great God don't let this happen. Being completely disconnected from the working taxpayer, he hasn't paid a toll or bought gas out of his own pocket in years, he sees no problem with raising a Road tax during a recession. There should be mandatory sanity testing in the Norristown Court House. He couldn't even entice his joined at the hip puppet to back this one.
