A group of community weekly newspapers serving parts of Berks County will be moving their offices from Boyertown to the offices of The Mercury in Pottstown.
All of the newspapers, including The Mercury, are owned by Journal Register Co., which owns 170 publications, including 19 daily newspapers.
Berks-Mont Newspapers Publisher Patricia Paul wrote a letter to the newspapers readers promising that while the offices are moving from Boyertown, the newspapers will continue to cover their local communities
