Ralph Nader stumps in Pennsylvania

Ralph Nader, preparing for another independent run at the White House, spent the weekend in Pennsylvania.

He did not have nice things to say about the Keystone State, which makes it very difficult for anyone not associated with the Democratic or Republican parties to get elected.

"This is a corrupt state that has to be reformed, and it's only going to be reformed by the people of this state," Nader told a gathering Sunday at the Chester County Historical Society.
Nader spent much of his talk blasting the Bush Administration, but it's the Democrats who have most to fear from a Nader candidacy. If Nader gets on the ballot, he will take votes away from either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Nader and other independent candidates face an uphill battle to get their names on the ballot. Pennsylvania requires independents to gather 50,000 signatures.
