Obama's 20-state strategy for defeat
With North Carolina's overwhelming vote Tuesday, 30 states have now approved constitutional amendments defining marriage solely as a union between a man and a woman.
Yet, Obama endorses same-sex marriage today.
Can anyone explain how he expects to win in November after he effectively turned his back on voters in 30 states?

Economy: Blue States Worse Than Red Under Obama
Pity the poor Obama voter. He fell for the "hope and change" line but ended up with "despair and status" quo after three failed years under Obama.
From Investor's Business Daily:
From Investor's Business Daily:
IBD compared average job growth, unemployment, changes in housing prices, per capita income and GDP growth, and gas prices for the 22 states that voted for John McCain in 2008 and the 28 states that voted for Obama .Read the full story here.
On every indicator but one, blue states have done worse, on average, than red states.
Liberal media backlash on Obama's radical gay marriage views begins
Obama's liberal media apologists waste little time defending the president's radical views on same-sex marriage. Get ready for the tsunami to come over the next few days as the lefties try to tell the majority of Americans they're wrong for believing marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Obama endorses gay marriage: Bold move or political suicide?
Bold move or political suicide? The last Gallup poll had just 50% of Americans supporting same-sex marriage. May 9, 2012 could be the day Barack Obama lost his bid for re-election.

Barack Obama’s bad night at the polls
You won't hear this from the state-run liberal media, but Tuesday's primary elections were a clear repudiation of Barack Obama's presidency.

Where was the coverage?
On Monday, more than 500 taxpayers from across Pennsylvania rallied in Harrisburg in favor of a bill to eliminate school property taxes.
The Associated Press and the Harrisburg Patriot-News did not send a reporter or photographer to the event. Today, less than 100 union members held a rally in favor of higher spending for education and welfare programs.
The Associated Press has a story and the Harrisburg paper has a photo of the union members all wearing purple T-shirts. Anyone see any bias in how the liberal media covers events?
And I digress, but did the 100 union members skip work to attend the rally?
Security at pro-choice White House counts unborn children
So it's OK to abort unborn children, but Obama wants them counted when they visit the White House inside their mothers' wombs? Gotta love that liberal hypocrisy.

Pa. school property tax system is broken
I don't understand the reluctance to support reforming the way Pennsylvania funds public education. The current system is broken. Nearly every school district in the state has had to lay off teachers and cut programs because property taxes do not provide adequate funding? So why stick with the same failed system?

Hundreds rally to end Pa. school property taxes
The May 7 rally is just the beginning of the hard work it's going to take to eliminate school property taxes in Pennsylvania. Every taxpayer must contact their state lawmakers and demand they support this common-sense reform.
Just remember that all 203 House seats and half of the 50 Senate seats are up for re-election this year. It's time the politicians did something for the people of Pennsylvania not just take care of themselves.

'The Avengers' smashes box-office records
The official box-office numbers are in and "The Avengers" did better than studio estimates. The film took in $207.4 million in its opening weekend.
Ray Subers recaps the record-breaking opening of "The Avengers" at BoxOfficeMojo.com:
It was the fastest movie ever to reach $100 million, $150 million, and $200 million, and it set new records for Saturday ($69.7 million) and Sunday ($50.1 million) grosses. It also had the highest per-theater average ever for a nationwide release with $46,057.
Through its first three days, The Avengers has already grossed more than Thor ($181 million), Captain America: The First Avenger ($176.6 million) and The Incredible Hulk ($134.8 million). It's still behind Iron Man and Iron Man 2 ($318.4 million and $312.4 million, respectively), though it should pass those movies next weekend.
