Where in the world is Ruth Bader Ginsburg?

I understand the need for lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court to avoid political influence, but shouldn't we have a mandatory retirement age for justices? What is our recourse for justices who can no longer carry out their duties because of serious health issues but refuse to step down? Ruth Bader Ginsburg has missed an entire month of oral arguments before the Supreme Court and her health status remains a mystery.
