Report: Sunday hunting in PA may generate $804M

This sounds like a no-brainer. Pennsylvania needs revenues and legalizing hunting on Sundays would add more than $800 million to state coffers. Lock and load.

The report says MAY generate $804M. Your post says WOULD add. There is a difference. A big difference.

Anyways, my family owns over 60 acres of land. We let only a few people hunt on it (mostly poorer people from the neighborhood that actually hunt for food, not sport). However, we find that strangers seem to come on and hunt as well, yes it is posted.

However, we enjoy our woods, walking, riding bikes and such. During hunting season we can only do this safely on Sunday.

If the state allows hunting on Sunday, then when do we get to enjoy our private property!

We also have rails to trails around our area and they are not always safe to walk on during hunting season, so you don't see many people during the week. But on Sunday the trails come alive with people. Why? Because it is safer without hunters shooting!
