Gov. Corbett to speak at Albright College

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett will deliver the commencement address at Albright College's 152nd commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 22.

Corbett has no ties to Albright College and the Republican governor did not get much support from the heavily-Democratic City of Reading when he ran for governor last November. Corbett did win Berks County by a 59%-41% margin over Democrat Dan Onorato.

Albright College, founded in 1856 in Reading, Pa., is a private college with nationally-recognized liberal arts curriculum.

The school has 1,660 undergraduates, another 500 adult students in accelerated degree programs, and 100 students in the master's program in education.
