If You Loved Islamophobia, Get Ready for Obamaphobia

Further proof that EVERY Democrat should be voted out of Congress in 2014. The cult of personality they've built around this failed president is sickening.

You'd Better Believe This Is Obama's America

Columnist David Limbaugh:
Well, if Obama was truly unaware of the IRS abuse, AWOL during the Benghazi attacks and the subsequent administration-orchestrated cover-up, and oblivious to the Fast and Furious gun-walking operation, the targeting of the media in the Associated Press scandal, the raiding of Gibson Guitar Corp., the witch hunt against Fox News reporter James Rosen, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ alleged pressuring of companies within the regulatory ambit of HHS to donate, and the multitudinous scandals concerning Solyndra, exactly what does he spend his time doing?

If Obama wasn’t behind those egregious episodes or was ignorant of them as he claims, then we have a right to know who has been acting as our president. If he didn’t order them, then he undeniably fostered a climate that strongly encouraged his subordinates to implement them on his behalf.

It simply cannot be coincidental that Obama’s underlings have pursued discriminatory practices that precisely conform to Obama’s agenda and to his friends and enemies lists.

This is Obama’s America.

A victory for children needing organ transplants

The Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network, the national panel that sets organ donation guidelines, announced on Monday a revised protocol for younger children to potentially be treated equitably on the adult list for lungs, but only after a review period of potentially seven days.

The decision came after the Obama Administration's HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' controversial decision to not consider any changes despite the imminent death of a 10-year-old Pennsylvania girl.

The national outcry over Sebelius' cold-hearted comments prompted a new policy by the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network.

U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) issued the following reaction:
"I commend the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network for acknowledging that the status quo is flawed with respect to children under 12. I appreciate that the OPTN was open to considering substantive reform.

"While I am still reviewing the policy changes, I am concerned about a seven-day waiting period during which a child with an urgent need, who is a suitable transplant candidate, is excluded from the transplant list while a panel reviews the case. This strikes me as problematic.

"Nevertheless, this issue could be solved at once if Secretary Sebelius would use the authority granted to her by existing law to stop the discrimination that is occurring against children under the age of 12. Medical need and suitability, not age, should be the criteria determining how organ donations are prioritized."

Scandal Fatigue: Americans No Longer Trust Obama

Liz Sidoti of The Associated Press:
You can trust me, Obama said back in 2008. And — for a while, at least — a good piece of the country did.

But with big promises often come big failures — and the potential for big hits to the one thing that can make or break a presidency: credibility.

A series of mounting controversies is exposing both the risks of political promise-making and the limits of national-level governing while undercutting the core assurance Obama made from the outset: that he and his administration would behave differently.

Thorns to Obama for secretly collecting phone records of American citizens

From the editorial page of The Pottstown Mercury:
THORNS to the practice of secretly collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret court order. The Obama administration defended the National Security Agency's need to collect telephone records of U.S. citizens, but critics said it was a huge over-reach. A senior administration official did not confirm the Guardian newspaper report that the NSA has been collecting the records, but the authenticity of the document was not disputed by the White House. The newspaper said the document, a copy of which it had obtained, shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records of millions of U.S. citizens are being collected indiscriminately and in bulk, regardless of whether the people are suspected of any wrongdoing. No one's talking about the report. What's frightening is who may be listening.

Thorns for Obama Administration's use of secret email accounts

From The Pottstown Mercury's editorial page:
THORNS to President Barack Obama’s political appointees, including the secretary for Health and Human Services, for using secret government email accounts they say are necessary to prevent their inboxes from being overwhelmed with unwanted messages, according to a review by The Associated Press. The scope of using the secret accounts across government remains a mystery: Most U.S. agencies have failed to turn over lists of political appointees’ email addresses, which the AP sought under the Freedom of Information Act more than three months ago. The secret email accounts complicate an agency’s legal responsibilities. Secret accounts also drive perceptions that government officials are trying to hide actions or decisions. Obama pledged during his first week in office to make government more transparent and open. Perhaps he doesn’t think that philosophy applies to email.

Welcome To The American Orwell State Under Obama

From Red State: Our dishonest, power-mad government tells us that they do this to keep us safe from terrorists. Are they protecting us from the very same terrorists that cross our borders with impunity due to our deliberately lax enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws? Do they do it to protect us from the terrorists that finance their destructive plans off of our very own welfare system?

Thorns for IRS excess spending

From the editorial page of The Pottstown Mercury:
THORNS to the already-besieged Internal Revenue Service for participating in a $4.1 million training conference featuring luxury rooms and free drinks. A total of 132 IRS officials received room upgrades at the 2010 conference in Anaheim, Calif., according to a report by an inspector general for tax administration. One official stayed five nights in a room that regularly goes for $3,500 a night, the report said, and another stayed four nights in a room that regularly goes for $1,499 a night. Without the upgrades, the IRS could have negotiated a lower room rate, as required by agency procedures. The inspector general’s report was surfacing as the IRS came under fire again in connection with its targeting of conservative groups during the 2010 and 2012 elections. In all, the IRS held 225 employee conferences from 2010 through 2012, at a total cost of $49 million, the report said. Add outrageous spending to the sins of a government agency already known for its arrogance.
