US Rep. Joe Pitts on latest Obamacare delay

From Congressman Joe Pitt's office:  Monday afternoon, the Obama administration announced a further delay of the employer mandate to purchase insurance contained in Obamacare.

Businesses with between 50 and 99 employees will not be required to provide insurance until January 2016. The rules also require larger businesses to cover only some of their employees by the January 2015 deadline. The Affordable Care Act required businesses with more than 50 full time employees to provide health care by January 1, 2014. The individual mandate to purchase insurance goes into effect this year

Congressman Pitts, who represents Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District, had this to say:
"Here we go again. Obamacare just keeps changing to meet the political needs of this administration. There’s no legal authority for further delay and no authority to create another category of employers. This just adds to the legal chaos that is making it hard for employers to grow their business and expand hiring."
