5,000 state workers in Pa. paid $100,000-plus salaries

Who says you can't get rich working for the government?

The gap between the beleaguered taxpayer and the political class in Harrisburg continues to grow.

The number of employees with six-figure earnings has more than quadrupled since 2002, according to the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

With so many state workers earning six-figure salaries (some in the $200,000 to $300,000 range), you'd think state government would be run better and Pennsylvania would be better place to live.
