FED UP joins taxpayer alliance

And then there were 25.

David Baldinger reports that membership in the Pennsylvania Coalition of Taxpayer Associations has reached 25 with the addition of FED UP, a taxpayer group in Beaver County.

The taxpayer movement has been centered in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but has been spreading steadily throughout the state. Taxpayer groups in 13 counties are represented by the coalition. The groups want one thing: Total elimination of school property taxes in Pennsylvania.

Baldinger said the name of the group, FED UP, sums up how many Pennsylvania taxpayers feel.
