The downside of an Obama-Clinton ticket

Many Democrats still hold out hope of "The Dream Team" of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton steamrolling over John McCain in November.

There are many drawbacks to having Hillary Clinton (not to mention Bill Clinton) by your side.

Philadelphia Daily News columnist John Baer examines the Clintons odd behavior as the race for the Democratic Party nomination winds down and concludes that the Clintons are crazy! They're the last people you want running for any office.

Baer writes:
...the Clintons have traded tenacity for a state of self-delusion bordering on narcissistic neurosis. The one who was president (impeached, you'll recall, for perjury) says that the media aren't for his wife and cover up the fact that "she is winning." He should have added: "If only in the universe where Planet Clinton is the sun."

Tonight the final votes are counted and Hillary ain't the nominee. When did I share with you my intuitive thinking that, for whatever reason, something would keep her from being handed the nomination? Probably about the time the Clinton's thought they were entitled to the presidency.

Now will Hillary try to pressure Obama into puttiing her on the ticket with him? He's dumber than anyone thinks he is if he caves to her at this point.

Now I can get back to the French Open and get a reprieve from Bill and Hillary. This has been a harrowing experience and thank God it's over. I hope we never have to endure another such 'primary'.

Now can we just get back to regular politics? Please.
