The first time Obama told the truth

This just might be the first time in his life Barack Obama told the truth.

In an interview with NBC news, Obama took responsibility for the Tom Daschle fiasco by admitting: "I screwed up."

From the MSNBC Web site:
"I've got to own up to my mistake. Ultimately, it's important for this administration to send a message that there aren't two sets of rules — you know, one for prominent people and one for ordinary folks who have to pay their taxes," Obama said on NBC's "Nightly News with Brian Williams."

I think it's a nice step Obama took. I'm a supporter, but I think when someone makes a mistake and owns up to it is something to give kudos to.
