Fourth Democrat asks DeWeese to resign

A fourth Democrat in the state House of Representatives has publicly called for the resignation of House Majority Leader Bill DeWeese in light of the Bonusgate scandal.

State Rep. Matt Smith, D-42nd Dist., told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that it's time for the embattled party leader to step aside for the good of the Democratic Party.

Other Democrats calling for DeWeese to relinquish his leadership post are state Reps. Harry Readshaw, D-36th Dist., John Yudichak, D-119th Dist., and William Keller, D-184th Dist.

Read more about Smith's comments in today's edition of the Post-Gazette.
