Time to send 'Porky Kanjorsky' packing

Voters in Pennsylvania's 11th Congressional District would do themselves, their state and their country a huge favor by rejecting Congressman Paul Kanjorsky's bid for another term.

Kanjorsky is exactly what's wrong with our politics today. A pork-spending career politician who votes the party line all the time.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review labels the 71-year-old incumbent "Porky Kanjorski" in an editorial that all residents of the 11th District should read.

The better choice for the 11th District is Lou Barletta.

Lou Barletta, best known as the crusading Hazleton mayor who cracked down on illegal immigration, was recently named Mayor of the Year by the Pennsylvania State Mayors Association.
