Where can you find 75,000 liberals in one place?

It appears every liberal in America will gather at a stadium in Denver on Aug. 28 to hear Sen. Barack Obama accept the Democratic Party nomination for president.

(If you're planning to wear traditional Muslim garb, be prepared to sit in the nose-bleed section. The Barack Obama campaign is sensitive about certain Americans being pictured with the candidate)

There's no indication if Obama will wrestle Hillary Clinton in a steel cage death match, but I'm sure the Democratic Party will come up with some surprises in this made-for-TV extravaganza.

Matt Burns, Director of Communications for the 2008 Republican National Convention, released the following statement, which hits the nail on the head:
"Not surprisingly, Senator Obama and his fellow Democrats are more focused on stagecraft and theatrics than providing real solutions to the challenges facing our nation. A change of venue for a speech isn't the kind of change the American people deserve or expect - and that's why we're confident the next President of the United States will be nominated at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul."

Tony,

They are not calling themselves liberals these days...they are 'progressives'.

Speaking of conventions, are you heading to either the DNC or RNC conventions this year?
