PA College Republicans to launch Web site

I had no idea there were college students brave enough to admit they are registered Republicans especially since Obama-mania swept the nation (and college campuses), but not only are there young Republicans in Pennsylvania, they're launching a new Web site to tell the world about themselves and their views.

The Web site -- www.pacollegerepublicans.com -- goes live on the Fourth of July.

The Pennsylvania Federation of College Republicans Executive Board has been hard at work the past several months to update the image of college Republicans in Pennsylvania, says Jessica Thompson, Fundraising/Public Relations Director for the group.

"This new Web site will be an incredible new resource for College Republicans throughout the state of Pennsylvania," says federation Chairman Anthony Pugliese. "Through the improved communication tools and other resources this Web site offers, I truly believe it will bring us together and help us identify and target areas and races where we can make the greatest impact."

The new site will have several features, including: Media tools and other information; News Updates and a new blog.

The blog feature on the Web site will allow PACR Executive Board members and PA Chapter Chairmen to communicate with each other about various local, state, and national events and campaigns that are important to them.

"Finally, we're able to showcase the state federation accurately," says Co-Chairman Michael Ubbens. "This is only the beginning of a very successful year with the PA College Republicans. Our website will become a very useful tool for the entire state."

Thank you so much for talking about us! We have really been trying to show PA that the College Republicans don't plan to spend election season sitting around and doing nothing!
