Newspaper likes Meehan's chances for governor

Recently retired U.S. Attorney Patrick L. Meehan has his hometown newspaper, The Delaware County Daily Times, in his corner for a potential run for governor of Pennsylvania.

The newspaper has glowing praise for Meehan as Delaware County District Attorney and U.S. Attorney for the Philadelphia region.

From the editorial:
At this point, Meehan seems to have what it takes to make an extremely credible bid for Pennsylvania's chief executive: He's ambitious, media-savvy, connected and rich with experience.

Patrick Meehan has served the people of Delaware County and the Eastern District of the state well. The next step is up to him.
Read the editorial, "Meehan boasts credentials for guv," in today's edition of the Delco Times.
