Nancy Pelosi is 'a total failure'

Talk about calling the kettle black. Nancy Pelosi, the most disastrous Speaker of the House in U.S. history, said in an interview that President Bush was "a total failure."

Has Mrs. Pelosi looked at the approval ratings for Congress since she took over as Speaker? It's down to single digits. It's 9 percent!!!! Bush's approval rating is 29 percent. Last time I looked, 29 was better than 9.

I guess the best defense for covering up your own incompetence is to go on offense.

From The Associated Press:
In an interview on CNN, the California Democrat was asked to respond to video of the president criticizing the Democratic-led Congress for heading into the final 26 days of the legislative session without having passed a single government spending bill. Pelosi shot back in unusually personal terms. "You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject," Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for "challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again."
Gas prices have risen 50 percent since Pelosi took over Congress. The economy is in the tank since Democrats took over Congress. Banks are failing since Democrats took over Congress. The housing market has collapsed since Democrats took over Congress. The stock market has plunged since Democrats took over Congress. Unemployment is up since Democrats took over Congress.

The Democrats promised to get U.S. troops out of Iraq if they were elected. It's been two years and they still haven't made good on the promise. More empty words from a party that hasn't had a new idea in 40 years.

And Pelosi has the nerve to criticize Bush? Take a look in the mirror, Nancy.
