Tax Day 2009
Today's the day.
Unless you're a member of Barack Obama's cabinet, in which case paying taxes is optional, today is the deadline to file your income tax forms.
One estimate says Americans have to spend $300 billion a year to have someone else prepare their taxes because the Tax Code is so complicated. Six in 10 Americans hire someone else to do their taxes.
There is something different about this April 15 -- Tens of thousands of Americans from all walks of life are staging Tea Parties to protest government spending and taxes. It's a start. We have to take our country back from the political class. Let the revolution begin.
