Senate Committee Split Vote on Sebelius

No more rubber-stamping Obama nominees?

The Senate Finance Committee approved Gov. Kathleen Sebelius's nomination to head the Department of Health and Human Services by a divided vote, 15-8. Sebelius is the latest Obama Cabinet nominee to admit cheating on her taxes and she also misled Congress about campaign contributions she took from the abortion industry.

Her nomination is expected to pass the full Senate, but the split vote can only spell trouble for Obama.
