Obama's Aunt a Symbol of How U.S. Immigration Policy is Abused, says FAIR

The Federation for American Immigration Reform, the country's largest immigration reform group, points to the case of Zeituni Onyango, a Kenyan illegal alien fighting deportation from the United States,as a classic example of what's wrong with the U.S. immigration policy.

The fact that Onyango happens to be Barack Obama's aunt adds a new wrinkle to the debate.

"What is all too common about Ms. Onyango is that her successful effort to stymie the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws is a textbook example of what takes place all the time," Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, said in a statement. "Despite having twice defied an order of deportation, Ms. Onyango is still able to manipulate the system to her own benefit."
