The Obama recession continues

When hospitals, health insurers and Internet companies start cutting jobs, it's serious.

The current recession is in its 16th month. We're into the fourth month of the Obama Administration and all his "stimulus" spending has failed to ignite the economy. The only sector not cutting jobs is government.

A sampling of headlines that paint a poor job picture:

Yahoo to cut 600 to 700 jobs after first-quarter results fall

Health insurance giant Independence Blue Cross plans to eliminate between 100 and 125 positions in June.

Reading Hospital to cut 250 positions

When hospitals start cutting jobs, it’s time to jump off the cliff. What happened? People stopped getting sick?
