The National Shooting Sports Foundation reports a 24% jump in December gun sales.
The reason for the sharp increase? I think it has something to do with Jan. 20 when the United States is turned over to one-party rule.
Democrats have attempted for years to deny Second Amendment rights. With Barack Obama in the White House and Nancy Pelosi/Harry Reid running a Democratic Congress, Americans have every reason to worry about new restrictions on lawful gun purchases.
"Sales of firearms, in particular handguns and semi-automatic hunting and target rifles, are fast outpacing inventory," said NSSF President and CEO Stephen L. Sanetti. "It's clear that many people are concerned about possible gun bans under the incoming Congress and are reacting accordingly."
