Disturbing news from the Pittsburgh area. A newspaper is reporting that a young woman was robbed, beaten and mutilated by a thug who became enraged when he learned the woman supports the McCain-Palin ticket.The suspect carved a large "B" on Ashley Todd's face after he spotted a McCain bumper sticker on the woman's car as he was preparing to flee from the scene of the robbery. Todd is a campaign volunteer for the GOP presidential ticket.

Ashley Todd, 20, of College Station, Texas, was using an ATM at Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street in Bloomfield just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man approached her, put a knife to her throat and demanded $60, police said.A spokeswoman for Pittsburgh police told The Associated Press it was unclear what the "B" was meant to symbolize.
Todd handed the man $60 she had in her pocket and stepped away from him, investigators said. The man then noticed the bumper sticker on the woman's car, which was parked in front of the ATM. The man became very angry, made comments to Todd about John McCain and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground, police said.
"He continued to kick and punch her repeatedly and said he would teach her a lesson for supporting John McCain," said police Chief Nate Harper.
The man then carved the "B" into Todd's right cheek. Todd, who isn't familiar with the area, drove to a friend's house nearby and told her friend she wasn't sure of the exact location where the robbery took place but remembered a green sign above the ATM. The friend called police and the officer met them on Cypress Street in Bloomfield, police said.
Let me take a wild guess and say it represents the "B" in Barack Obama.
The attack comes the same week Congressman John Murtha, a Democrat who supports Obama, called people in western Pennsylvania planning to vote for John McCain "rednecks."
Murtha also said earlier that people in Pennsylvania unwilling to vote for Obama are racists.
No condemnation yet of the brutal attack on the young woman from the Obama campaign or Murtha.

Police to administer polygraph test. This woman looks to be facing some jail time for filing a false report and trying to incite race violence. The picture says it all. The B is backwards, looks like the dummy did it in the mirror and didn't realize her mistake until after calling the cops and posting her stupidity on the internet. Congrats Ashley, you've got your 15 minutes, I hope it was worth ruining your future.
