A new Rasmussen poll of Pennsylvania Democrats has Sen. Arlen Specter holding a big lead over Congressman Joe Sestak in the 2010 Democratic Senatorial primary in Pennsylvania.
The first Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of the race shows Specter drawing 51% of the vote to Sestak's 32%.
The problem for Sestak appears to be name recognition.
"Not surprisingly, Specter, a senator for nearly 30 years, is much better known than Sestak, a retired Navy admiral and second-term congressman from the Philadelphia suburbs," concludes Rasmussen.
