State Highway Safety Officials: Hang Up and Drive

A new study says that just listening to a cell phone while driving "can reduce by 37 percent the amount of brain activity associated with driving."

And we all know how brain dead most driver are when they get behind the wheel.

It might be time for a national ban on cell phone use by drivers.

While I am not as attached to my cell phone as I am, say, my 2nd Amendment rights, a ban on them while driving is stupid.

Instead of targeting ONE symptom of distracted driving, how about going all of the ways people are distracted.

Or better yet, why not enforce the reckless-driving regs already on the books, and leave those of us who can talk and drive along!
