'W' bombs at the box-office

Oliver Stone makes really good movies ("Platoon," "Wall Street," "JFK") or he makes really bad movies ("Natural Born Killers," "The Doors," "Alexander).

"W" is a really bad movie.

Despite opening in more than 2,000 theaters, Oliver Stone's George W. Bush parody tanked at the box-office, taking in $10.5 million over the weekend.

The movie cost $30 million to make. Most movies drop half of their opening gross the following weekend and continue to slide. That means "W" won't recover its production costs in theaters.

Critics hated the movie and American film-goers decided to stay away in droves, just as they have for a dozen other far-left films released in the past couple of years.

Well W. has still had a stronger weekend then An American Carol, and nobody predicted this movie to have the box-office gross of Spider-Man or The Dark Knight.

Out all the leftist films like Rendition, In the Valley of Elah, & Lions for Lambs, W. still pulled in some money and it was only .3 behind #2 Beverly Hills Chiawa.
