The job picture is getting worse in Pennsylvania. Thank you, Ed Rendell. You'd think all that corporate welfare Rendell handed out over the years would have produced a few jobs by now.
Rendell increased state spending by nearly $8 billion since 2003 and increased state debt by another $3 billion.
The state is facing a potential budget deficit of $1 billion to $3 billion in 2009. Expect a huge tax increase if the Democrats keep majority control of the state House on Nov. 4.
