Congressional sex scandal involving a Democrat?

Remember how the corrupt liberal media covered up the John Edwards sex scandal?

Have you heard much about Florida Congressman Tim Mahoney, who replaced Rep. Mark Foley, the Republican who made national headlines after it was revealed he was e-mailing young Congressional pages?

Rep. Mahoney, a Democrat, is embroiled in his own sex scandal. But not a peep from the liberal media about it ... until now.

From today's Top of the Ticket political blog in the Los Angeles Times:

Senior Democratic leaders in the House of Representatives, including Rep. Rahm Emanuel, chair of the Democratic Caucus, have been working with Mahoney to keep the matter from hurting his reelection campaign, the Mahoney staffers said.
