Pennsylvania's 2nd Annual Walk For The Wounded will be held Sunday, June 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rose Tree Park in Media, Delaware County. Operation First Response is a national organization that cares for wounded soldiers and their families. The group invites all veterans and residents in Southeastern Pennsylvania to support the fundraiser with their "heart and dollars."
In addition to the walk, there will be free concerts, a visit by the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders, the Sixers Dancers and St. Joe's basketball coach Phil Martelli.
Operation First Response says 90 percent of funds raised will go directly to soldiers in need.
