State officials looking for federal bailout

Gov. Edward G. Rendell, speaking on behalf of the National Governors Association, wants the federal government to come to the rescue of states that overspent their budgets.

What's wrong with this picture?

You spent more than you took in and now want Washington, which has been spending more than it takes in for 100 years, to come to your rescue.

I say fire them all. Every governor that put his or her state in the red and every member of Congress.
