Gov. Ed Rendell has found another $128 million to cut from his bloated budget, bringing the total amount of cuts identified by the governor to $439 million.
But the budget deficit has already topped $658 million in just five months and will probably reach $2 billion by the end of the fiscal year.
It's time to put away the scalpel and take out the hatchet.
