Democrats say the stupidest things

Two of the best-known Democratic politicians have come down with foot-in-mouth disease and no, Vice President-elect Joe Biden was not one of them.

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell on President-elect Barack Obama's pick for secretary of Homeland Security: Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano is "perfect for that job. Because for that job, you have to have no life. Janet has no family. Perfect. She can devote, literally, 19-20 hours a day to it."

Napolitano, a second-term governor, former state attorney general and former U.S. attorney, has never been married and has no children, according to The Associated Press.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid commenting on tourists who visit Washington, D.C., at the dedication for the $621 million Capitol Visitors Center: "My staff tells me not to say this, but I'm going to say it anyway," said Reid in his remarks. "In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol. It may be descriptive but it's true."

Their arrogance shines more each day. It's pathetic that the voters don't see through their guise.
