The hot political rumor in Pennsylvania this week has Congressman Jim Gerlach, R-6th Dist., mulling a run for governor after Ed Rendell leaves in 2010.
Gerlach is the 14th name (7 Republicans and 7 Democrats) that pundits have mentioned as possible candidates. Looking over the list, you can scratch half the names off as not serious contenders.
