'With Obama in charge, say your prayers'

One of my favorite Pennsylvania columnists, Gil Spencer of The Delaware County Daily & Sunday Times, still can't get over Barack Obama's election as president.

While most Americans are basking in the euphoria of an Obama victory, Spencer believes the storm is coming.

From Spencer's latest column:
During the campaign he was called "No-Drama Obama." But drama is coming — and soon.

A few short weeks ago, Obama's running mate spoke an inconvenient truth when he warned the country that, "mark my words," an international crisis will be manufactured to test the mettle of the new and inexperienced 47-year-old president.

Will he have that "spine of steel" Joe Biden predicted, or will he be President Merkin Muffley of Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove?
