Republican Party officials expect to open a campaign office for presidential nominee John McCain and state Rep. Robert Godshall at 322 W. Main St, by the end of the week, according to a spokesman for Godshall, the newspaper reports.

Both campaigns are currently procuring volunteers to man the office, according to Iannozzi. The facility would provide a place for local Republicans to congregate and to help McCain, a senator from Arizona, handle voter questions and help Godshall, who has represented the 53rd legislative district since 1983, to better serve his constituents.Read the full story at the newspaper's Web site.
