In honor of National Police Week, May 11-17, the Pennsylvania State Police will tie blue ribbons to all police vehicles in honor of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
The tribute is especially timely as Pennsylvania's law enforcement community mourns the loss of Philadelphia Police Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski, who was killed over the weekend by three men fleeing an armed robbery.
One of the suspects, Eric D. Floyd, is still on the run.
