Rep. Pitts to hold townhall meeting March 8

Congressman Joe Pitts, R-16th Dist., will hold a townhall meeting on Monday, March 8, from 7 – 9 p.m., at Cocalico Middle School, 650 South 6th Street, Denver, Lancaster County.

While the focus will be on creating jobs and reviving the American economy, Rep. Pitts will listen to all concerns of constituents in 16th District.

From Pitts:
"Congress continues to be distracted by a highly ideological fight over health care. I think we need to concentrate on enacting policies that will revive our economy and create new jobs, not a bill that puts Washington in charge of one-sixth of the U.S. economy.

"However, the current leadership in Congress is not going to keep me from working across the aisle on productive solutions to get Americans working again. I look forward to a productive discussion with 16th District residents about moving our country forward."
