Rendell rings in new year with layoff threats

New year, same old Ed Rendell.

I like what Kevin Cramsey has to say about the 2010 version of Ed Rendell:

As predicted, the governor's strategy with the legislature from here onward appears to be this: Give me what I want or employees and their families suffer the consequences.

Anyone looking for a kinder, gentler state capitol in 2010 has come to the wrong place.
