If you don't spend much time at the Commonwealth Foundation's Web site, shame on you. It's a terrific source of information about what's really happening in Pennsylvania.
The most recent posting at the site under Policy Points is about Act 1.
Voters will face a referendum question on the May 15 primary ballot from their local school districts. Do yourself a favor and spend a few minutes at the Commonwealth Foundation site to figure out the impact of Act 1 on your family.
The Foundation explains the winners and losers (mostly losers) under the Act 1 tax shift. It also helps you figure out the difference between and Earned Income Tax and a Personal Income Tax.
You can also print out the information and share it with friends and neighbors who may not have access to a computer.
Got to http://www.commonwealthfoundation.org/ for everything you need to know about Act 1.
