Can you trust Facebook?

It doesn't take look to turn something good into a devious way to make money.

With more than 400 million users, Facebook is the most popular "social networking" Web site in the world, but it's been doing a lot of things that users don't like.

From an editorial in the New York Daily News:
Friendly Facebook is suffering a revolt among some of its more than 400 million registered "friends." That's because the social networking site has been spreading users' personal details to advertisers and other web sites.

One gauge of just how unfriendly Facebook has become: Its privacy policy is longer than the U.S. Constitution - 5,830 words versus 4,543. And while users once had to choose to share their info, it now takes 50 or so mouse clicks to opt out.
