PA GOP: Brown win a warning to Specter & Sestak

Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason releases the following statement on the historic GOP Senate victory in Massachusetts:
"On behalf of the entire Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I would like to extend my congratulations to U.S. Senator-elect Scott Brown on his historic victory. As you can see by the results, his campaign had the better message, worked harder and had a better qualified candidate.

"One year after the inauguration of President Barack Obama, Scott Brown's decisive victory signals a public rebuke of his big government agenda. This was an election heard around the country and the Democratic Party better be listening.

"If Republicans can win a statewide election in Massachusetts, one of the bluest states in the nation in a high turnout election, can you imagine how Republicans will perform this Nov. 2nd in a swing state like Pennsylvania? Democrats, like U.S. Senator Arlen Specter and Congressman Joe Sestak, would be wise to listen to the people and drop their pursuit of a big government agenda. They can start by pulling the plug on government-run health care today.

"In closing, I would like to thank the countless volunteers from Pennsylvania who volunteered to help get Scott Brown to victory. We had a bus full of over forty volunteers travel to Massachusetts and they knocked on doors and made phone calls in the last 72 hours and countless more made phone calls from home. Our PA GOP volunteers are one of the most effective grassroots organizations in the country and I have no doubt that we played a role in making tonight's history a reality."
