'Avatar' already No. 7 on All-Time Box-Office List



With another strong weekend at the box-office, James Cameron's "Avatar" has grossed $430 million domestically, ranking No. 7 on the All-Time Box-Office List in just four weeks of release.

Next up for "Avatar" to surpass are a couple of little films you may have heard of: "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" and "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial."

What's left on the list? "Shrek 2" and "Star Wars," which "Avatar" will pass next weekend, leaving just two films on its list of worlds to conquer: "The Dark Night" and "Titanic" -- the only two films to gross more than $500 million domestically.

Can "Avatar" become the top-grossing film of all-time? It depends on how well it does with upcoming awards announcements. A bunch of Golden Globe and Oscar nominations could help boost the film to No. 1.
