Pope Benedict XVI: The Apostolic Church in Cyprus
The Pope acknowledged the long history of Christianity on Cyprus during his weekend visit to the island. Christianity was introduced to Cyprus by the Apostle Paul, who landed on the island with Barnabas during Paul's First Missionary Journey between 46-48 A.D.
