Support Meals on Wheels by dining out April 20-26

A number of Pottstown-area restaurants will team up during the week of April 20 to raise awareness and funds for Family Services' Meals on Wheels program, which serves Pottstown, Royersford and the Lower Perkiomen Valley.

"Thanks to the community's ongoing support of fundraising events like the Annual Dine Out, we are able to serve seniors and disabled individuals who turn to our program for assistance," said Meals on Wheels Program Director Lou Wentz.

Family Services' Meals on Wheels program provides two meals, a hot lunch and a cold supper to refrigerate, to more than 180 homebound elderly and disabled individuals each weekday. Volunteers deliver more than 84,000 meals a year.

There are restaurants for every taste and every budget involved in the fundraising. To participate in the Seventh Annual Dine Out for Meals on Wheels, visit the following restaurants April 20–26:
